This is the newest addition to the property. One day we looked up and above the cars was this, an ever growing wasps nest. Now this thing is high up so I haven't had any sense of swarm yet. I was thinking I could leave it until winter and then take it down and jar it or something. It's quite a piece of work.

the driveway

We had a little problem with our driveway. We ordered these rocks, shown in the photo, but before we got these, they actually had dumped a pile of the super huge rocks...#2, by mistake. They weren't able to pick them up so we had to get rid of them by hand. We ended up putting a big for free sign to get rid of most of them. But boy were they heavy! Now we have our new rocks to spread out.

One of my spaghetti squash plants has 3 almost ripe squashes. I have no idea when I can pick it. This plant has had some bug attacks, but in general has flourished all over the patio. The other ones...our on the brink of death. They will probably find themselves in the compost.
